Inspiration comes at you from all over when summer sets up shop. Peonies and cherries are exploding, the jacaranda trees are finishing up their purple confetti blooms, and I’m practicing several hours a day to the soothing background noise of massive construction outside my house.

I’m so excited about two big shows coming up: June 17th at 54 Below in New York City, and June 19th at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett! How did I get so lucky? Both spots are legendary, and my band and I are hoping to live up to the hype. So while the days approach the longest of the year, I’m approaching the airport in a mere 72 hours! There are a few tickets still left for the 54 Below show I’m told–come join the boys and me and let’s have a party!! xox In the meantime, I tried to match my pedicure to the peonies. But the peonies won by a mile.
